Community Trust Center

How we handle reports, appeals, data, and your privacy. The network only works if it's trusted.

Built to protect communities.
Operated with integrity.

Blacklist Terminal was founded by nate.npc after recognizing a straightforward problem: bad actors - scammers, predators, harassers - move freely between Discord servers because servers don't communicate with each other. A user banned from one community walks straight into the next.

Blacklist Terminal fixes that. One verified report protects every connected server simultaneously. The network grows stronger with every server that joins - and every report is reviewed by a human admin before anything goes live. No automated bans, no false positives from bots. Just verified, evidence-backed protection.

📋
Report Submission
Anyone can submit a report using /reportuser. Reports require a Discord user ID, a reason, and a category. Evidence attachments (screenshots, videos) are strongly encouraged. All submissions go into a pending review queue - nothing is added to the blacklist until reviewed by an admin.
🔍
Admin Review Process
Every pending report is reviewed by our admin team before any action is taken. Admins evaluate the reason, evidence, and pattern of reports. Reports without sufficient evidence are rejected. We do not add users to the blacklist based on a single unverified claim.
Approval & Notification
When a report is approved, the user is added to the global blacklist and every connected server is notified in real time. The server that submitted the report is also notified of the approval decision. Rejected reports include a reason so submitters can resubmit with better evidence if needed.
⚖️
Appeals & Removals
Users who believe they have been incorrectly blacklisted can submit an appeal through our support server. Appeals are reviewed by the admin team. If an appeal is successful, the user is removed from the blacklist and all connected servers are updated immediately.

We had the same predatory accounts hopping between gaming servers for months. Since adding Blacklist Terminal we've blocked 12 flagged users automatically. Night and day difference.

The approval process gives me confidence - every report is reviewed before anything goes live. It's not just a ban list, it's a verified intelligence network. Exactly what we needed.

2
Submit your appeal with: your Discord ID, the reason you believe the report is incorrect, and any evidence supporting your case.

If approved, your entry is removed from the global blacklist immediately and all connected servers are updated in real time.

What data we collect and why.

Data Collected

Blacklist Terminal stores the following data in its database:

  • Discord User IDs - of users reported to the network (not usernames or personal information)
  • Report details - reason, category, submission date, and which guild submitted the report
  • Evidence files - screenshots and videos attached to reports (stored securely on our server)
  • Server (Guild) IDs - to associate reports with their origin and to send notifications
  • Per-server configuration - alert channel ID and auto-action setting

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

  • Message content from any server
  • Personal information beyond Discord IDs (no emails, real names, or IP addresses)
  • Voice or video data
  • Any data not directly related to reports and server configuration

Data Retention & Deletion

Report data and blacklist entries are retained indefinitely to maintain the integrity of the threat database. When a blacklist entry is successfully appealed and removed, all associated report data is also purged from our database. Server configuration data is deleted automatically when Blacklist Terminal is removed from a server.

Contact

For any privacy concerns or data deletion requests, contact us directly through the Blacklist Terminal support server. We will respond within 72 hours.

Rules for using the network.

1. Accurate Reporting

You agree to only submit reports based on genuine, verifiable incidents. False reports, reports submitted out of personal conflicts, or reports without evidence are violations of these terms and may result in your server being removed from the network.

2. No System Abuse

Using Blacklist Terminal to target specific individuals for non-genuine reasons, coordinate mass false reporting, or circumvent the appeal process is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the network.

3. Admin Decisions Are Final (with appeal)

Approval and rejection decisions made by the admin team are final unless successfully appealed through the official appeal process. We do not accept pressure campaigns or repeated resubmissions of rejected reports without new evidence.

4. No Warranty

Blacklist Terminal is provided as-is. While we strive for accuracy and uptime, we make no guarantee of uninterrupted service or that every blacklisted user has been correctly identified. Always use your own judgment in addition to the bot's alerts.

5. Compliance with Discord ToS

All use of Blacklist Terminal must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Any use that violates Discord's policies is also a violation of these terms.

Last updated: May 2026. By adding Blacklist Terminal to your server or submitting a report, you agree to these terms.
